الأشواك الظهرية (المجموع) : 12 - 21; الأشعة الظهرية الناعمة (المجموع) : 6 - 9; شوكة شرجية: 0; أشعه شرجية لينه: 23 - 27. Snout long, tubular. Lower jaw projecting forward beyond upper one. No barbel on lower jaw. A short barbel is present on the posterior end of the upper jaw. Branchial membranes free from isthmus.
Minimum depth reported at 15 m (Ref. 56557).
