Espinas dorsales (total) : 10; Radios blandos dorsales (total) : 17 - 18; Espinas anales: 3; Radios blandos anales: 8; Vértebra: 26. Differs from all other congeners by its lips mostly covered with very small scales, upper lip lacking rugosities, lower lip with rugosities along dorsal part; and maxilla almost squared off poteriorly where dorsal and posterior boarders of maxilla forming a right angle (Ref. 78426).
