Spine dorsali (totale) : 10; Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 17 - 18; Spine anali: 3; Raggi anali molli: 8; Vertebre: 26. Differs from all other congeners by its lips mostly covered with very small scales, upper lip lacking rugosities, lower lip with rugosities along dorsal part; and maxilla almost squared off poteriorly where dorsal and posterior boarders of maxilla forming a right angle (Ref. 78426).
