背棘 (總數) : 11; 背的軟條 (總數) : 26 - 31; 臀棘: 2; 臀鰭軟條: 7; 脊椎骨: 23. Body whitish when fresh. Oblique rows of dark dots above lateral line. Length of longest gill raker usually 12 or less (mostly 10) in HL (Ref. 41299).
