Espinhos dorsais (total) : 0; Raios dorsais moles (total) : 14 - 15; Espinhos anais: 0; Raios anais moles: 18. Body elongate and moderately slender. Short, blunt, non-protrusible snout. Barbel has slender stem, flattened, moderately narrow distal tip. Black in color. Barbel black except proximal band, outer edges of flattened wings and distal bulb unpigmented (Ref. 37039).
