背棘 (總數) : 0; 背的軟條 (總數) : 14 - 15; 臀棘: 0; 臀鰭軟條: 18. Body elongate and moderately slender. Short, blunt, non-protrusible snout. Barbel has slender stem, flattened, moderately narrow distal tip. Black in color. Barbel black except proximal band, outer edges of flattened wings and distal bulb unpigmented (Ref. 37039).
