شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل) : 13 - 15; شعاع نرم باله مخرجي: 25; مهره ها: 36. Having orbits projecting beyond dorsal profile of head; paired preethmoid cartilages; 13-16 dorsal-fin rays. Its lower jaw is enclosed in the upper jaw, however, the upper jaw is not as large and broadly expanded. Scales in lateral series 63-65; having the lateral process of pelvic bone in line with fifth pleural rib (Ref. 54508).
This species is likely to be pelagic (Ref. 54508).
