Diagnosis: last simple dorsal-fin ray smooth on hind margin; scale formula 3.5/19-21/2.5; 1.5 scales between lateral line and pelvic-fin base; 8-9 scales around caudal peduncle; lateral-line scales distinctly larger than other scales on sides; 8 branched dorsal fin rays; no barbels; lateral line incomplete, deeply depressed below dorsal fin; maximum reported size 23 mm SL; back blackish; dorsal and anal fins with black band; black bar on eye (Ref. 2940, 81282).
最體型小。 小的嘴, 不完全的側線縮小成一些穿孔了。 比其它大的側線的鱗片。 淡黃色的背面, 鱗片有黑色邊緣了。 在頭部兩側上的黑色的線或斑紋從吻尖到鰓蓋。 斜的淡紅斑紋與也許也在背鰭與臀鰭上的 1-2 黑色斑紋。 背鰭與臀鰭兩者都有 3個單一的鰭條。
