Eggs are oblong capsules with stiff pointed horns at the corners deposited in sandy or muddy flats (Ref. 205). Egg capsule measures 11.77 cm long and 8.46 cm wide (Ref. 41249). Depth range of 300 m-500 m given by H. Ishihara (pers.comm. 07/07).
