Etymology: Trimma: Greek, trimma, -atos = something crushed (Ref. 45335); barralli: Named for Glenn E. Barrall.
Eponymy: Glen E Barrall is a dive master and underwater photographer ‘par excellance’, who provided Winterbottom with many ‘superb’ slides of species of Trimma in their natural habitat, including those used in the description of this one. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
