पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण) : 1; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण) : 12 - 14; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 8 - 9. Diagnosis: mouth subinferior; lips well-developed, lower lip largely interrupted; two pairs of well-developed barbels, anterior pair nearly equal to, and posterior pair 1.3x eye diameter; 25-27 scales in lateral line; last simple ray of dorsal fin ossified and 114% of HL (Ref. 81639).

Maximum TL was recorded at 19.6 cm (Ref. 2801).
