Specimens from Pulwar River were caught on muddy bottom (mud 5-6 cm thick, below which is a stony bottom) with aquatic vegetation (Juncus, Cyperus, Typha). One specimen was caught in flowing water near the foot of a muddy bank at Kul River, near Darab (Ref. 33850). Oviparous, possibly with distinct pairing during breeding similar to congeners (Ref. 205).
