Characterized by having no hump before dorsal fin, with small teeth on the outmost patches of the lower jaw small, and 5 scale rows above the lateral line; no teeth on tongue; snout length in horizontal orbit diameter 1.2; distance anus to anal-fin origin 28.1-31.0; lower-jaw symphysis without projections (Ref. 123109).
