Dorsal spines (total): 1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12 - 14; Anal soft rays: 8 - 9. Diagnosis: mouth subinferior; lips well-developed, lower lip largely interrupted; two pairs of well-developed barbels, anterior pair nearly equal to, and posterior pair 1.3x eye diameter; 25-27 scales in lateral line; last simple ray of dorsal fin ossified and 114% of HL (Ref. 81639).
Maximum TL was recorded at 19.6 cm (Ref. 2801).
