Issue
The species Anabas oxyrhynchus Boulenger, 1902 is considered as valid in Eschmeyer (CofF ver. May 2011: Ref. 86870). It is treated here as a synoym of Ctenopoma weeksii Boulenger, 1896 following ICZN's decision to retain the name Ctenopoma weeksii based on the principle of priority (G. Boden, pers. comm).
