Etymology: Matilebias: Named for Dr. Matias Pandolfi; combination of his nickname 'Mati' and Greek 'lebias'; juanlangi: Named for the late Juan Jorge Reichert Lang, in appreciation for his dedication in collecting and illustrating Uruguayan species of Austrolebias.
