Diagnosis: head length 4.5-4.9 times in SL; body depth 8.2-9 times in SL; snout rounded, 2.3-2.7 times in HL; eye superolateral, 5.3-6.5 times in HL, 1.7-2.1 times in interorbital width, 2.1-2.8 times in snout length; dorsal fin origin 1.05-1.2 times further from snout tip than from caudal fin origin, slightly in front of pelvic fin origin; anal fin base 1.8-2.4 times further from pelvic fin origin than from caudal fin origin; pectoral fins large, 4.5-4.9 times in SL, 0.95-1.05 times in HL; pelvic fin 6.1-6.7 times in SL, 1.35-1.45 times in HL; caudal peduncle 1.6-1.9 times longer than deep (Ref. 11970).
