Dorsal spines (total): 6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 42 - 43; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 40 - 42; Vertebrae: 29. This species is distinguished by the following characters: D VI,42-43, A 40-42, P 15-18, vert. 10 + 19; both on premaxillae and dentals, three fangs (unpaired, middle, and paired lateral) in symphysis and one or two lateral fangs on both sides; small conical teeth in row near symphysis and in two rows posteriorly; sagittal crest of skull moderately developed and smooth; presence of suprabranchial pouch; dorsal pterygiophore formula DF 3 1221, no interneural vacant gap between pterygiophores of spined and soft parts of D; three pterygiophores ? before first hemapophysis; pleural ribs from third centrum; whole body including predorsal area and belly with scales, also present in patches on sides of head, but absent on breast and P base; P asymmetrical; V partly separated from each other and connected by a membrane only in main halves of their lengths (Ref. 129446).
