Etymology: Lissonanchus: Greek, lissos = smooth + Greek, agchone = bottleneck (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: Mrs D N Lusher of Brakpan, South Africa, was honoured in the name as she found the type specimen and presented it to the author, having collected it at Ponte Zavora in southern Mozambique. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
