Eastern Atlantic: from about 30°W to 60°N; along the continental slope of West Africa between 27°N and 14°N as well as between 9°S and 12°S, also about 22°S, off South Africa from 26°S to 31°S. Western Atlantic: between 30°N and 60°N. Eastern Indian Ocean: broken ridge (31°S, 93°E).
