Diagnosis: rounded to slightly flattened body; differs from T. brichardi and T. depressum in the possession of a lower number of body scales pored by the lateral-line system (33-35); some males with several vertical rows of maculae in caudal fin; snout slightly more pointed than in T. brichardi; eyes in a somewhat more elevated position (Ref. 52307). Description: body slender and elongated; swim bladder reduced; scales very small; a single lateral line (Ref. 52307). |
