Caudal peduncle deep and long. Caudal fin small. Has 7 spines in first dorsal fin and general color of fish is yellowish brown with silvery speckles (Ref. 48635).

Description: Characterized by presence of dense red orange dots on top of head, snout, eye, jaws, throat; reddish scale margins on body; pattern of scattered dark brown dots on light organ; lateral line incomplete with 8-13 tubed scales; greatest depth of body 2.3-2.5 in SL (Ref. 90102).
