Description: Body ellipsoid; caudal peduncle slender (Ref. 52193). Head smooth, rounded; mouth inferior, small and straight; nostrils in front of eye, opening closely spaced (Ref. 52193). Dorsal fin with 18-21 rays; anal fin with 25-28 rays; dorsal fin far back, above and shorter than anal fin; caudal fin forked with pointed lobes; males with kink in anal fin (Ref. Scales in 12-13 rows around caudal peduncle (Ref. 52193). Colouration: Colour uniformly silver or grey (Ref. 52193). |
