Diagnosis: Light brown in color with gridlike stripes on the lateral side of the body. Body shape slender, depth 22.3-25.2% SL. Caudal fin subtruncate. Dorsal fin spines 19-20. Anal fin spines 7-8. Scales in longitudinal line 34-37. Gill rakers on lower limb of first gill arch 5-7. Total vertebrae 33 (Ref. 56628).
