Diagnosis

Description: Characterized by mainly blue or blue-grey color; top of snout and head with pale stripe; blackish caudal fin with orange base and white margin; 10 caudal rays; rings 14 - 16 + 13 - 15; discontinuous superior trunk and tail ridges; inferior trunk ridge ends near anal ring; lateral trunk ridge confluent with inferior tail ridge; length of snout 1.9-2.2 in head length; depth of snout 4.9-7.2 in snout length; head length 3.5-4.2 in SL (Ref. 90102).
