bar and spit
(English) Low accumulations of sand forming intertidal or subtidal extensions of reef islets; often closing lagoon ends and/or extending into lagoons. (See also: lagoon area, reef islet, hoa)
cordon et flèche
(French) Accumulations basses de sable qui forme des extensions intertidales soustidales des îlots du récif; souvent isolant une lagune et/ou s’étendant dans les lagune. (See also: lagoon area, reef islet, hoa)
