Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 127-132; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 100-110; Vertebrae: 147-155. Body extremely elongated, ribbon-like. Top of supraoccipital crest situated vertically above posterior margin of eye. Very slightly pigmented on upper part of anterior dorsal fin membranes. Posterior margin of preopercle indistinct because it is almost embedded below membranes, but anterior margin of preopercle very visible because it clearly projected externally. First anal fin spine base situated below 32nd-35th dorsal fin ray base. (Ref. 44252). |
