Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 60 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: known only from Senegal and Pointe Noire, Congo. Reported from Cote d'Ivoire (Ref. 34514). Southeast Atlantic: Angola (Ref. 114953).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 0-0; Vertebrae: 109-109. Disc-width larger than its length, width and length about 1,40 to 1,60 times in total length; dorsal fins rounded; dorsal side buff or rosy ochre with darker and lighter spots, ventral side is uniform rosy white (Ref. 39215).
Biology:  Ovoviviparous (Ref. 50449).
