Thysochromis annectens (Boulenger, 1913)

Max. size:  8.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Southern Nigeria. A dubious species, possibly the same as Thysochromis ansorgii, from which it differs only by the color pattern.
Diagnosis:  Description: only 4 dark spots on each side of body; difficult to differentiate from T. ansorgii through other features (Ref. 52307).
Biology:  Pair-bonding, cave-breeding (Ref. 52307).
