Max. size:  11.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range 0 - 150 m, oceanodromous
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: east of 30°W, between 20°N - 4°S and probably farther south to about 18°S in the Angola Current.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  High-oceanic, mesopelagic; nyctoepipelagic at the surface. Sexually mature from about 8.4 cm (Ref. 4479). Maximum depth from Ref. 58018.
