Max. size:  91 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range 150 - 300 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: southeastern Japan and East China Sea, including the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, and the Arafura Sea (Ref. 9819).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 0-0
Biology:  Found on the outer continental and insular shelves and uppermost slopes, presumably on or near sandy-mud bottom (Ref. 31367, 11230). Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205).
