Distribution:  Asia: Nam Ma basin in Laos, northern Viet Nam and Hainan, China.
Diagnosis:  Anal fin with 6 1/2 branched rays; body with 2 vague stripes; lips thin, narrow, smooth (Ref. 43281).
Biology:  Inhabits streams with sandy to muddy substrate (Ref. 43281).
