Diagnosis: |
Vertebrae: 34-36. This species is distinguished by the following characters barbels absent: pharyngeal teeth 0,0,4-4,0,0; lateral line incomplete; longitudinal scales 41-46; transverse scales 16-18; no white spots on dorsal-fin rays; juveniles without a black blotch on dorsal fin; larvae with less developed wing-like yolk sac projections (Ref. 123652). |
Biology: |
Collected from a slow-flowing stream at an altitude of 625 meters, the substrate consisted of mud mixed with gravel. Taken with other species Rhodeus ocellatus, Hemiculter leucisculus and Pseudorasbora parva (Ref. 123652). |
