Diagnosis: |
Dorsal soft rays (total): 81-81; Anal soft rays: 53-53; Vertebrae: 77-77. This species is distinguished by the following characters: horizontal mouth with no tissue flaps anteriorly on protruding lower jaw; no distinct black pigment spots through the transparent skin; D 81, A 53, pectoral 14 and no pelvic fins; precaudal vertebrae 37, total 77; predorsal length 42.5 % SL (Ref. 118598). |
