Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Processus dentiformis present; 9+8 branched caudal rays; 8 1/2 branched dorsal rays; no suborbital flap in males; incomplete lateral line reaching about anal fin origin; two black spots at base of caudal fin; 8-11 bars on body; caudal fin emarginate to slightly forked (Ref. 39226). |
Biology: |
Found over pebbles in small shallow streams. A female measuring 4.56 cm SL contained ovulae of about 0.9 mm in diameter. Its stomach contained insect remains (Ref. 39226). |
