Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: South Africa, Madagascar and Madang, Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 70-70; Anal soft rays: 56-56; Vertebrae: 41-41. maximum total length about 6.4 cm (Ref 12933).
Biology:  Feeds on small benthic animals.
