Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 20 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 23-24; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 13-14. Description: Characterized by generally grey brown color except yellow to whitish color on lower portion of head and sides; anterior lateral line scales 25-32; predorsal scales 13-17; depth of body 24-28.4 % of SL (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Found in reef slopes at about 20 m depth (Ref. 48635). Solitary, in pairs or small groups around coral or rock outcrops (Ref 90102).
