Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Amur drainage, Sakhalin Island and Mongolia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Spawning in middle of June, fecundity 36,000 eggs (Ref. 1441). Prefers the main channel of rivers. Feeds on small fish such as gudgeons and minnows (Ref. 41072).
