Diagnosis: |
Dorsal soft rays (total): 42-42; Vertebrae: 47-47. No coronal pore, 7 preoperculo-mandibular pores. Head large (27% SL), and very compressed (40% HL); gill slit large (1.3 eye diameter), opercular flap long, wing-like, reaching behind midpectoral length and level with pupil. Pectoral fin short (45% HL), with two notch rays. |
