Diagnosis: |
Poecilia hondurensis is distinguished from all other species of Poecilia that have an inner row of tricuspid teeth in each jaw by the absence of a spinal hook on gonopodial ray 5 and an extremely reduced membranous hook on gonopodial ray 3 (Ref. 87955). |
