Max. size:  8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 10 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Panama.
Diagnosis:  Distinguished by the following characteristics: slender and laterally compressed body; large and oblique mouth; pelvic fins fused to form a disc; body is scaled from the base of the caudal fin anteriorly at least up to the pectoral-fin base (Ref. 92840).
Biology:  Inhabits areas with leaf, shell and organic debris (Ref. 92840).
