Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 3 - 100 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia, from southern Western Australia to Victoria, including Tasmania.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 9-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 17-18; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 17-18
Biology:  Occurs on the continental shelf (Ref. 9563), over sand and seagrass (Ref. 26068).
