Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 17-19; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 24-26. A slender, laterally compressed body (Ref. 81635). Dorsal profile of the head is downward sloping and concave or straight; snout is V-shaped from above (Ref. 81635). Both anal and dorsal fins terminate at about the same level (Ref. 81635). The fish is dark chocolate-brown overall, lighter on the belly; the fins are dark brown (Ref. 81635). |
