Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Seychelles, Chagos Islands, Palau, Kapingamarangi (Caroline Islands), and the Great Barrier Reef.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 16-18; Dorsal soft rays (total): 31-32. Body uniformly light in color. SL to over 34 mm.
