Max. size:  5.53 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.8 - 7
Distribution:  Africa: Streams flowing into the Ankofia River and from its principal tributary, the Anjingo in Madagascar (Ref. 57724).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow areas of rivers where it seeks shelter along the banks or among rocks. Feeds on small shrimps and terrestrial and aquatic insects. Preyed upon by aquatic insects and fish-eating birds (Ref. 57724).
