Description: Characterized by pale yellow color with pair of brown stripes on upper half of side; middle of caudal fin base with small dark spot; juvenile pale yellowish color with four black stripes on head and side, base of caudal fin with black spot at middle; greatest depth of body 2.6-3.3 in SL (Ref. 90102). |
Found in coral reefs, more commonly in aggregations among branching corals (Ref. 36661, 48635). |
