Distribution:  Asia: Laos.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-6; Anal soft rays: 3-3; Vertebrae: 39-40. Lower lip lacking a median notch and having a posterior margin with lobulate projections. Caudal fin lunate with elongate, strap-like lower principal ray in mature males. Male genital papilla immediately behind the anus in a U-shaped depression (Ref. 44353).
