Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Western Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 42-44; Dorsal soft rays (total): 1-1; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 25-28. Caudal fin rounded.
Biology:  Inhabits reef, weedy and sandy areas (Ref. 33839). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
