Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 4-4; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 3-4; Vertebrae: 19-19. Pectoral fin membrane thin and translucent, no fleshy pad on ventral surface of rays (Ref. 13608). A pale gray species generally lacking of any markings, at most, it has light gray spots. Smaller than vespertilio, reaching only about 7 cm SL. Subopercular lateral line scale count usually 6 (5-7) (Ref. 40824).. |
