Distribution:  North America: Apalachicola River drainage in Georgia and eastern Alabama, USA; one locality in upper Savannah River drainage in northeastern Georgia, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits sandy runs and pools of creeks and small rivers.
